Who We Are
OddVora is a free football prediction platform operating at oddvora.com. For the purposes of applicable data protection law — including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) where applicable, and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) — OddVora is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
OddVora is not a regulated gambling operator. We publish football tips for informational and entertainment purposes. We do not accept bets, process payments or hold financial accounts on behalf of users.
What Personal Data We Collect
OddVora does not require registration, login or account creation. You can use the full site without providing any personal information. The data we collect is limited to what is necessary for the site to function and for us to understand how it is used.
Data collected automatically
When you visit OddVora, our server automatically records your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time and date of visit, and time spent on each page. This data is stored in server access logs and is used solely for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues. It is not linked to any personal profile and is deleted after 90 days.
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised usage statistics — which pages are viewed, how long users stay, what devices and browsers are used, and broadly where users are located (country / region level only). IP addresses sent to Google Analytics are anonymised before storage. We do not enable demographic or interest reporting. Data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
We use cookies to remember your theme preference (dark / light mode) and to support analytics. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites, build advertising profiles or identify you personally. See the Cookies section below for the full cookie list.
Data you provide voluntarily
If you contact us via the contact form at /contact, we collect your name, email address and message. This data is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not added to any marketing list. We retain contact form data for 12 months after the last correspondence, then delete it.
If you sign up to receive tip notifications or a newsletter, we collect your email address and the date of sign-up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. Upon unsubscribing, your email address is removed from the active list within 48 hours. Suppression records (to prevent re-adding you) are retained indefinitely.
Data we do not collect
OddVora does not collect payment information, betting account details, financial data, government ID numbers or any special category data (health, religion, ethnicity, political views, biometric data). We do not build individual user profiles or engage in behavioural advertising.
How We Use Your Data
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing personal data. The table below sets out each purpose, the data used, and our legal basis for processing it.
We process server log data (IP address, browser, pages visited) to keep the site running securely, detect abuse and diagnose technical problems. Our legitimate interest is operating a functioning, secure website. This processing is minimised to what is strictly necessary and does not override your privacy interests.
We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with OddVora so we can improve the site. This processing is based on your consent, obtained via our cookie notice when you first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences or using your browser's cookie controls.
When you contact us, we use your name and email address to respond. We have a legitimate interest in responding to communications from users of our service.
If you sign up for tip notifications or a newsletter, we process your email address based on your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
When you click a bookmaker affiliate link on OddVora, the bookmaker may set tracking cookies to attribute your registration or deposit to OddVora for commission purposes. This tracking is conducted by the bookmaker under their own privacy policy. OddVora receives aggregated commission reports — we do not receive your personal details from bookmakers, your betting history or account information.
What we do not do with your data
- We do not sell personal data to third parties.
- We do not share personal data with advertisers for profiling or targeting purposes.
- We do not use personal data to make automated decisions with legal or significant effects.
- We do not transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA except where standard contractual clauses are in place (e.g. Google Analytics data processed in the US under Google's Data Processing Terms).

When you first visit OddVora, a cookie notice allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics). Functional cookies (theme preference, consent record) are always set as they are necessary for the site to work correctly.
You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies will not prevent you using OddVora but your theme preference will not be saved between sessions. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available for most major browsers.
Third Parties We Work With
OddVora uses a small number of third-party services to operate the website. Each is listed below with the nature of the data they receive and a link to their privacy policy.
Provides website usage analytics. Receives anonymised usage data including IP addresses (anonymised before storage), pages visited, session duration and device/browser information. Data may be processed in the United States under Google's standard contractual clauses. Google Privacy Policy.
OddVora's web hosting provider processes server log data (IP addresses, request data) in the course of operating the server infrastructure. This data is retained for 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes. The hosting provider is bound by a data processing agreement.
If you subscribe to tip notifications or a newsletter, your email address is stored with our email service provider, which processes it solely for the purpose of sending you communications you have opted into. You can unsubscribe at any time. The email service provider is bound by a data processing agreement.
OddVora has affiliate relationships with regulated bookmakers. When you click a bookmaker link, the bookmaker's own cookies and tracking operate under the bookmaker's own privacy policy. OddVora receives aggregate commission reports only — no personal data, betting account information or transaction data from the bookmaker is shared with OddVora. Each bookmaker's privacy policy is accessible on their website.
OddVora may use Cloudflare for content delivery and DDoS protection. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and request data to route traffic and protect the site. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
We do not share personal data with any third party beyond those listed above, and then only to the extent necessary for the purposes described.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. The following retention periods apply.
90 days. After this period, server logs are permanently deleted or anonymised. Logs are never used for any purpose other than security monitoring and diagnosing technical errors.
14 months, after which it is automatically deleted from Google Analytics. Data is anonymised at the point of collection.
12 months after the last correspondence, then permanently deleted. If ongoing correspondence is necessary (e.g. an unresolved complaint), data is retained until the matter is resolved plus 12 months.
Retained while you are an active subscriber. Upon unsubscribing, your email address is removed from the active list within 48 hours. A suppression record (your email address only, flagged as unsubscribed) is retained indefinitely to prevent accidental re-subscription.
The oddvora_consent and oddvora_theme cookies expire after 1 year. At expiry, your preference is cleared and the cookie notice is shown again on your next visit.

Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR and NDPR you have the following rights with respect to your personal data. These rights are not absolute — some have exceptions — but we will always respond to your request within the applicable statutory timeframe (one month under UK/EU GDPR).
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and information about how it is used. This is known as a Subject Access Request (SAR).
If we hold inaccurate or incomplete personal data about you, you have the right to request that we correct it.
Also known as the "right to be forgotten". You can request that we delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it.
You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances — for example, while the accuracy of data is being contested.
Where processing is based on consent or contract, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
Where processing is based on consent (analytics, email), you can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the UK: the ICO (ico.org.uk). In Nigeria: the NITDA (nitda.gov.ng).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@oddvora.com with the subject line "Privacy / Data Request". We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. We will respond within one month of receipt.
